For four full days each week, it operates in the heart of Skipton on the High Street itself.

 

A huge array of stalls of all shapes and sizes are set up each market day on the High Street 'setts - a wide cobbled area between the roadway and footpaths. On its busier days there can be as many as a hundred stalls, creating a friendly and bustling atmosphere.

 

The Market operates every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday,

throughout the whole year. Monday is slightly quieter in the winter months. You'll find a fantastic range of goods across the Market - from clothing, shoes and household goods to fruit, vegetables and cheeses, craft and leather goods, food, drink, chocolates, and flowers.

 

Plus, of course, its location in the heart of the Town means that Skipton's mix of independent shops and famous High Street brands are right next door.

Skipton Market is perfect for a half-day or full-day visit - or when combined with another local attraction such as Skipton Castle, a boat trip on the Canal or the Embsay Steam Railway.
