The Alley Arts and Conference Centre is a state of the art theatre complex, art gallery and  conference centre based in the heart of Strabane, County Tyrone.

 

Offering top class entertainment,  arts development and conference facilities, the Alley Arts and Conference Centre is now  recognised as one of the leading arts and conference venues within the North West of Ireland.  We have three dedicated art galleries, exhibiting some of the best exhibitions from across the UK  and Ireland.

 

Alley Theatre Gallery 1: Exhibition Space

Each month you can expect to see high quality exhibitions in our bespoke gallery space 1 with a  space to sit and reflect on the delightful exhibits.

Alley Theatre Gallery 2: Museum Services

In Gallery space 2 we are currently hosting ‘An Introduction to Flann O’Brien – A Man of Mystery  Exhibition running until February 2022. Celebrating the life and works of local writer Brian  O’Nolan (Brian O’Nuállain). Better known by his pen names of Flann O’Brien and Myles Na  Gopaleen. He was a novelist, playwright and satirist and is considered as one of the major literary  figures in twentieth century Irish literature.

 

New: Alley Theatre Gallery 3: Outdoor Community Exhibition Space

Get excited! We are! We are making ready our outdoor space for a range of community  exhibitions in the coming weeks and months ahead. Keep an eye out on our social media  pages @thealleytheatre or on our website www.alley-theatre.com for updates.  As well as outstanding art exhibitions you can also enjoy the many sculptures located around the  Alley Theatre and in Strabane including ‘Where Dreams Go’ (Ambrose the Pig) by Martin Herron,  ‘Myles After Myles’ Sculpture by Holger Lonze, a tribute to Brian O’Nolan, better known and  Flann O’Brien and ‘Let the Dance Begin Sculpture’ by Maurice Harron, Strabane’s millennium  sculpture.
