Fleetwood Market is one of the oldest markets in Lancashire. Dating back to the 1800s, the market is nestled in a coastal setting at the heart of Fleetwood, a thriving seaside town which is popular with visitors and locals, but don’t be fooled by its age! This market has ever changing stalls and is a shopper’s delight for clothing, household goods and gifts all at great prices. There are currently over 200 stalls to explore inside the market, with plans in progress to develop the outside market. The market is open four days a week all year round. We’re easy to get to by car, coach, bus or tram stops close by. There is also a cash machine on site and we’re also fully accessible for wheelchair users.

The Digital Help Centre at Fleetwood Market was officially opened in February 2018 and is helping local people and market traders to get online! The centre, run in partnership by Citizens Advice and Wyre Council, helps people to learn new IT skills and even work their way towards qualifications. There are a number of computers available to use and assistance is offered from both Citizens Advice and Wyre Council staff. Appointments can be booked for those who prefer or the service can be accessed on a drop in basis. The centre is located inside Fleetwood Market close to the entrance and is open during the hours of the market.

All of our market staff and many of our stall holders are trained ‘dementia friends’, having recently attended dementia awareness sessions. Fleetwood Market has also undergone some changes over the last year which we hope will assist customers living with dementia as well as their families and carers. An award winning market!

We are delighted to announce we have secured funding by Coastal Community Fund for our market! This will include internal improvements and the refurbishment of the outdoor market.
