Choose from a selection of fabulous Food & Drink Festivals taking place throughout the summer of 2019 on the charismatic Kent coast. Hosted by family friendly event organiser The Market Square Group, using their consumer facing brand Zoom Events, these festivals are free to enter. Visitors can expect to find an array of freshly prepared international street foods, artisan grocery products and bars with real ales, ciders, craft lagers, specialist spirits and plenty of fizz! All events feature a live music stage with artists performing a range of genres plus entertainment for children including rides and slides.

Hythe Food & Drink Festival 19th – 21st July 2019.

Now in it’s fourth glorious year, Hythe’s most highly anticipated food and drink festival returns to the idyllic Holman’s Field alongside the Royal Military Canal. The event is located close to the town centre and all public transport stops, so getting to and from the venue couldn’t be easier. Hythe itself offers a wealth of independent shops so visitors who come to the festival can stay for the day to enjoy all of the unique attractions, charm and history the town has to offer. A strong line up of live music will feature throughout the weekend with a special jazz night on the Friday. Plus, watch out for special cooking demos from a celebrity chef!

Ramsgate Street Food & Drink Festival 30th August to 1st September 2019.

The Ramsgate Food & Drink Festival has a sparkling location on Ramsgate Harbour just next to the Marina. Visitors will find stalls selling international street cuisine, groceries, craft beer bar and children’s entertainment. A programme of live music will take to the stage from Friday evening with a line up of great artists across a range of genres. Enjoy alfresco dining and good food shopping in a focal point of town with Yacht Marina, Harbour Arm, Maritime Museum and a host of great eating establishments clustered nearby.

Deal Food & Drink Festival – 6th – 8th September 2019.

 So close to the Kent coast your toes could get wet, the scenic ports town of Deal hosts its third annual Food and Drink Festival in front of the historic Deal Castle. International street foods, homemade groceries, handmade crafts and craft beer bar will all feature alongside children’s entertainment and live music stage with Jazz night on the Friday. With its castle, Time Ball Tower & Museum, Pier, attractive walks and a wealth of independent shops a short stroll away, this festival is now a firm favourite with locals and tourists alike.

Safe and relaxed for young, old and all those in the middle, these events are suitable for coach parties of foodies, shoppers and those who just enjoy a good day out exploring all the British seaside has to offer.
