Shropshire / Oswestry

Markets in Oswestry date back some 800 years and still remain one of the town's biggest attractions, drawing visitors from far and wide.

The Indoor Market is open each Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and Outdoor Markets are held every Wednesday and Saturday. The outdoor street market received an award at the 2022 British Mark Awards and is well worth a visit. There is a fantastic monthly Artisan Market, held on the last Friday of each month where you will find quality food and craft producer from the local area and later the indoor market opens late for food and live entertainment. The Indoor Markets is also award winning and boasts over 40 independent and bespoke businesses and a number of street food retailers and comfortable indoor café. Oswestry Markets are disabled friendly and welcome dogs.
